1. My neighbours have noisy parties every weekend. I can ´´t sleep and it ´s driving me mad! 2. It was my girlfriend ´s birthday yesterday, and I forgot to get her anything. She isn ´t happy. 3. I share a flat with a friend, but she never does any housework. 4. My teenage children spend long hours glued to their mobile screen. The town where I currently live is called Baeza. It ´s a monumental town, in fact it was declared a World Heritage Site in 2003, by UNESCO. Geographically speaking, it´s located in the heart of the province of Jaen, in Northeastern Andalusia, near the River Guadalquivir, which is born in the Sierra de Cazorla.
In terms of historic buildings, this place is full of stone facades, manor houses, gorgeous fountains, various churches and, even a cathedral, most of which were built in the Renaissance style. In addition, if you go for a walk around the outskirts, you can see the remains of the town wall, dating back to the Middle Ages. Similarly, there are a few museums and the local market, which is inside a beautiful building. As for shopping, the High Street was pedestrianised various years ago and it´s the most commercial area, although people prefer to purchase their clothing in neighbouring towns such as Ubeda, Linares or Jaen, because over there you can find shopping centres, department stores and alike. With respect to leisure and sport, there are a couple of big parks which offer plenty of green areas and swings for kids. Moreover, Baeza is famous for its tasty tapas which you can try in the numerous bars and restaurants mainly situated around the town centre. Apart from that, there are green ways, a football stadium, a huge swimming pool open to the public over the summer, and sports facilities so that you can keep in good shape all through the year.
